The first weekend of this year’s Santa trains saw hundreds of families visiting Santa in a winter wonderland down Groudle Glen.

Following artic weather hitting the Isle of Man on Friday…. Saturday & Sunday saw the railway operating Santa trains in a magical setting with visitors travelling from North Pole Halt (very appropriately titled) to visit Santa through a snow covered glen.

Services were operated by Annie and the newly refurbished locomotive Maltby running shuttle services all day between 10am and 3pm with families visiting Santa in his grotto where all children received gifts, photos with his elves who also handed out sweets and festive refreshments of Mince Pies, Mulled Punch, Tea, Coffee & Orange Juice.

We are open again next weekend (Sat & Sun 16th & 17th December) from 10am to 3pm with tickets available on our website or via Facebook. We hope you can join us for more festive fun.

If you can’t…. don’t forget our Mince Pie trains on Boxing day which will help you wind down after the over indulgence of Christmas Day. Trains operating between 11am & 3pm.
