Driver Experience Sessions

Realise a childhood dream and savour the whole railway experience by joining our driver on the footplate of the locomotive and learn how to drive and fire a real Victorian steam locomotive.

Two hour sessions are available to book online every Sunday throughout the season (plus Saturdays in August) for the inclusive fee of £75.

Included in the price of a Driver Experience is a Souvenir Certificate which you will be sent following your memorable day, and one year's (or part thereof) membership of the Isle of Man Steam Railway Supporters Association, which entitles you to free travel on Groudle Glen Railway at the production of your membership card and a copy of our quarterly magazinel; Manx Steam Railway News.
