A huge congratulations to the Curphy family of Ballaugh who were the lucky ones to win the Easter Egg Hunt at Groudle over the weekend.
They correctly spotted all the eggs along the line and popped their entry into the Lhen Coan postbox, and their form was picked at random at the end of services on Monday evening.
The railway’s Chairman Trevor Nall, popped out to present them with their prize, their own Easter Bunny and a Car plus four return ticket with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
The volunteers at the line want to once again thank the Steam Packet for their generous sponsorship of the event which saw hundreds of island families travel on the railway over the weekend to meet the Easter Bunny.
Our summer season of operating starts on Sunday 7th May with the tea rooms and railway open from 11am to 4:30pm. More details on our timetable page.
