Easter 2017 certainly saw a mixture of weather at Groudle, however thankfully the wet weather didn’t dampen the spirits of visitors to the railway to come and see the Easter Bunny!

The railway and tea rooms were open on Easter Sunday and Monday from 10 until 4:30pm with the EasterSPC Colour Logo Bunny in residence at Sea Lion Rocks handing out eggs to the children, an Easter egg trail along the line to win a car and four ticket with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and free tea, coffee and orange juice in the Tea Rooms.

Sea Lion and Annie operated a three bogie coach, shuttle service all day carrying hundreds of Manx families out onto the cliff tops and whilst Sunday was damp and cloudy, on Monday we did see the sunshine at times but whatever the weather smiles were still in evidence on everyone’s faces.

The railway and tea rooms reopen for the summer season on the first Sunday of May, open between 11am and 4:30pm.
